2010 AGM

28 January 2010

After being delayed one week by ‘Arctic’ conditions, the branch AGM was held on the 13th January at the Willoughby. Attendance was very good, with 14 members present if memory serves. The usual elections were held and all committee members were returned to their posts, apart from a change at the top with Mike Lapworth becoming chairman and Dave Laing stepping down to the vice chairman role. Many thanks to Dave for his sterling work as our esteemed leader over the last however many years it has been.

Our social calendar is packed out at the moment, check the Diary page for details.

Willoughby Congrats!

Berrylands Beer Festival

9 April 2009

The Berrylands has a beer festival on from 22nd to 26th April – the boards outside the pub say 20 guest ales including St George’s beers. Of course, it clashes with the Willoughby fest, so I doubt many will make it.

April Meeting

25 March 2009

Due to the England football match on 1st April, the first part of the April branch meeting will take place in the Park Tavern, New Road, Kingston. Once the match has finished we will adjourn to the Willoughby.
